Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Change Grow Live (CGL) to recruit a dedicated, skilled, and passionate permanent ISFL Recovery Coordinator to join their new, specially funded team at HMP Bristol.
In this exciting specialist role, you will deliver a structured Incentivised Substance Free Living (ISFL) programme within a custodial environment. By combining 1-to-1 screening, assessment, and recovery planning with the design and delivery of interactive group workshops (focusing on topics like anger management, sleep disorders, and relationships), you will empower service users to overcome substance challenges, manage group dynamics, and achieve meaningful social reintegration.
Structured Programme Delivery: Research, design, and facilitate structured group sessions, pods, and tailored workshops (e.g., anger management, relationships) for service users at various stages of recovery.
Assessments & Care Planning: Support service users from point of entry through their treatment journey, providing screening, assessment, recovery planning, and onward referral.
Group Dynamics & Evaluation: Manage group dynamics and challenging behaviour effectively, conducting thorough debriefs and evaluations with co-facilitators after sessions.
Harm Reduction & Reintegration: Promote recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination while reducing drug and alcohol-related harm within the prison community.
Experience & Knowledge: Strong understanding of substance misuse issues and practical experience working within a similar health, social care, or criminal justice field.
Group Facilitation Skills: Proven experience of working with groups or pods and managing group dynamics, conflict, or challenging behaviour.
Core Competencies: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, high IT proficiency, and a proactive, self-motivated approach to time management.
Requirements: Supportive team player. Must hold the legal Right to Work in the UK (note: this role is based fully within HMP Bristol and is subject to an enhanced DBS check).
Annual Leave: 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing by 1 extra day for each year of service during the first five years (up to 30 days). (Note: Due to the structured nature of the ISFL programme, annual leave is expected to be planned outside of scheduled programme delivery dates wherever possible).
Wellbeing Support: Paid weekly 'Wellness' hour, access to a Wellness Hub, and a comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).
Financial & Career Support: Contributory pension scheme, extensive training, career progression pathways, and a refer-a-friend scheme.
Lifestyle Perks: Generous discounts for shopping, cinema, holidays, and more.
