Team Leadership & Development: Lead a supportive, performance-driven department; efficiently manage people routines including scheduling, absence, performance reviews, and talent development.
Customer Focus: Empower colleagues to always put the customer first, actively listening and responding to customer feedback to deliver outstanding service.
Operational Excellence: Ensure market-leading availability, plan resources thoroughly, and drive high performance against all departmental targets.
Collaboration & Cost Control: Build effective relationships with other store departments while driving down and managing key cost budgets like shrinkage and waste.
Management Experience: A confident and competent manager with strong leadership skills and the ability to have difficult conversations with effective resolutions.
Communication & Stakeholder Skills: A great communicator who shares knowledge, experience, and best practices while building effective relationships across all areas.
Adaptability: Flexible and adaptable to change, capable of leading your team smoothly through operational changes.
Compliance & Knowledge: Necessary food safety knowledge aligned with your department.
