ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Care Assistant at Barchester Healthcare’s Lindum House Care Home, you will play a central role in supervising and inspiring a dedicated team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager. You will ensure high-quality, dignified care while supporting the clinical team in key areas of resident care.

Core Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Supervise, motivate, and mentor a team of Care Assistants to deliver exceptional person-centred support.

• Clinical Support: Assist the clinical team with medication administration, resident assessments, care plans, and regular care reviews.

• Resident Wellbeing: Maintain a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment while strictly respecting the dignity, independence, and preferences of residents.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a compassionate, warm-hearted leader with a genuine commitment to individualised care for the elderly.

Requirements & Skills:

• Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.

• Clinical Knowledge: Demonstrated experience and specific knowledge in clinical care for the elderly.

• Leadership Qualities: Strong communication, motivational, and people management skills.

• Compassionate Approach: A resident-first mindset dedicated to dignity and individual care needs.
