ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Night Senior Carer at Barchester Healthcare’s Lindum House Care Home, you will oversee care delivery during night shifts, ensuring residents receive continuous, high-quality, and dignified support. Working alongside the Deputy General Manager and clinical team, you will lead and inspire a night care team while managing key clinical responsibilities.
Core Responsibilities:
Night Shift Leadership: Supervise, motivate, and guide a team of dedicated Care Assistants throughout the night.
Clinical Support: Assist the clinical team with medication administration, resident assessments, care planning, and regular care reviews.
Person-Centred Care: Safeguard the dignity, preferences, and comfort of residents, ensuring a safe, warm, and supportive overnight environment.
ABOUT YOU
We are seeking a warm-hearted, compassionate, and reliable care leader with specific expertise in elderly care.
Requirements & Experience:
Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
Clinical Knowledge: Proven expertise and specific knowledge in clinical care practices for older adults.
Leadership Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively guide and support a night care team.
Resident-Centred Approach: A deep commitment to individualized care, respect, and dignity.
