Role Overview

This hands-on role is ideal for someone with basic mechanical knowledge and a willingness to learn. Full training and a clear development plan will be provided to help you progress into advanced positions! Enjoy an exceptional work-life balance featuring a standard weekday schedule and a 9-day fortnight (every other Friday off work).

Key Responsibilities

• Engineering Support: Assist qualified Mechanical Engineers and steam pipefitters with a wide range of planned and reactive maintenance tasks.

• Maintenance Duties: Work with petrol-fueled generators and water pumps for the planned maintenance of underground services. Clear undergrowth from external steam/condensate pipework and paint pipe supports.

• Site Coordination: Act as an escort for sub-contractors and personnel requiring site access to complete activities.

• Safety & Upkeep: Report any noticed repairs to the Works Supervisor, maintain good housekeeping, and adhere to strict health and safety standards.

• Professional Representation: Follow reporting procedures and represent EMCOR UK in a professional manner at all times.

What You Will Need

• Experience: Proven experience in a practical or technical support role.

• Knowledge: A basic understanding of mechanical maintenance processes and strong health and safety awareness.

• Requirements: A full UK driving license and the eligibility to obtain and hold high-level security clearance.

• Attitude: A proactive, eager-to-learn mindset with a desire for long-term career growth.
