Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Oncology Pharmacist to join a renowned healthcare hospital team in Brighton, UK. In this role, you will act as the trusted Medicines Management Lead, integrating complex pharmaceutical care into personalized treatment pathways for oncology patients.
Working on a flexible bank contract basis, you will collaborate closely with a talented multidisciplinary team across various clinical departments. You will play a vital role in planning, monitoring, and quality assuring chemotherapy treatments, ensuring high-standard clinical interventions and patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and quality assure the preparation and administration of chemotherapy treatments and complex oncology medications.
Participate in multidisciplinary ward rounds, providing expert drug information, clinical reviews, and medication reconciliations.
Assure compliance with national regulations, hospital policies, and medication safety standards while delivering patient-focused pharmaceutical education.
Requirements
Active registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) with at least 2 years of dedicated oncology pharmacy experience.
Completion of oncology pharmacist competencies as set by BOPA and the Pan-London framework.
Exceptional analytical abilities with strong proficiency in electronic prescribing and EPR systems (IQEMO experience highly desirable).
