About the Role

As a supportive bridge staffing agency connecting dependable talent with top retail brands, we are thrilled to partner with Morrisons to recruit a friendly, hands-on Customer Assistant for their Market Street and Café team in Consett.

In this role, you will help prepare and serve the fresh, high-quality food Morrisons is famous for. Whether you are serving meals in the Café or preparing fresh pizzas, fish, or meat counters on Market Street, you will play a major role in making every customer's experience special.

You will work in a fast-paced environment following structured routines, with cross-training provided across other store areas like Replenishment and Customer Service to ensure flexibility and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve fresh, high-quality food in the Café and across Market Street counters (meat, fish, pizza, etc.).

• Deliver a warm, helpful customer experience and resolve customer queries effectively.

• Follow structured routines, timed activities, and safe equipment-handling practices.

• Provide cross-functional support in other store departments such as Replenishment and Customer Service as required.
