About the Role

We are currently recruiting a Transport Assistant (Dayshift) for the Bathgate Distribution Centre.

With bags of initiative, you will help maintain a clean, organized, and smooth-running Regional Distribution Centre. Taking control of returnable equipment and contributing to high-volume recycling operations, this role ensures the depot stays safe, efficient, and ready to keep products moving to stores at lightning speed.

Detailed Key Responsibilities

• Returnable Equipment Control: Manage the standards, sorting, and organization of returnable transport units and equipment across the depot.

• Recycling Operations: Contribute actively to eco-friendly recycling workflows and waste management processes.

• Forklift Handling: Safely operate forklift trucks to transfer materials and equipment around the distribution center (full training provided).

• Depot Efficiency: Work proactively to keep workspace areas clean, orderly, and compliant with site safety standards.

• Team Collaboration: Support transport and warehouse colleagues to uphold high site performance standards.
