Key Procedures & Duties
Process supplier invoices, credit notes, and payment requests accurately and efficiently.
Ensure invoices are matched, coded, and authorized in line with group policy and internal controls.
Deliver accurate transactional data to help produce management information reports.
Provide a helpful, professional service to suppliers and internal stakeholders, responding promptly to queries.
Ensure strict compliance with statutory obligations, financial regulations, internal audit standards, and company policies.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline Accounts Payable processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Candidate Requirements
Skills: Strong customer service, interpersonal, numeracy, and literacy skills, with the ability to handle queries professionally.
Technical Proficiency: Experience using financial systems and Microsoft Excel (basic to intermediate level), alongside strong technology skills to manage and report data accurately.
Education: GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at Grade C / 4 or above.
Experience & Work Style: Ability to manage workloads effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines. An understanding of invoice processing and accounts payable principles is highly desirable.
