Job Title: Senior Care Assistant
Location: The Bridles Care Home, Dykes Way, Wincanton, BA9 9FQ (Brand-new luxury care home)
Rate of Pay: £16.00 per hour (includes £2.00 per hour night enhancement) + £800 Welcome Bonus
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (12-hour shifts: 7:30pm - 7:30am for nights, with day and night shifts available)

We are partnering with The Bridles—a brand-new, state-of-the-art luxury care home in Wincanton—to find an experienced and dedicated Senior Care Assistant. Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate the unit overnight (or during your shift), ensuring smooth, confident handovers and taking complete ownership of safety and wellbeing.
Support clinical care alongside nurses, assisting with medication, observations, and care plans.
Guide, mentor, and inspire Care Assistants on shift, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Deliver exceptionally high-quality, person-centred care while building strong, trusting relationships with residents and their families.
What We Are Looking For
NVQ Level 3 in Care (or working towards it—full support provided).
Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant, or readiness to step up into a leadership role.
Confidence in leading a shift, managing workloads, and supporting others.
A calm, compassionate, and highly organised approach, particularly when managing night shifts.
A genuine passion for delivering personalised care and making your mark in a brand-new facility.
