Position: Insurance and Risk Assistant Manager
Location: Maidenhead (Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days working from home)
Salary/Rate: £49,616 – £58,199 per annum + up to 10% annual bonus
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-time, 37.5 hours per week)

We are proud to partner with our client as a supportive staffing agency to recruit an experienced Insurance and Risk Assistant Manager for their Maidenhead office. Programme & Policy Management: Support the delivery of the UK insurance and risk management programme, overseeing renewals, policy coverage, budgets, and broker/insurer relationships.
Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and support the insurance team, fostering performance, wellbeing, and professional growth.
Risk Assessment: Oversee risk evaluation and mitigation activities across the organization, supporting governance within a complex business structure.
Claims Management: Handle complex insurance claims from notification to settlement, producing in-depth claims and risk analysis to drive loss reduction initiatives.
Exceptional Earning Potential: Strong base salary between £49,616 and £58,199 per annum, heavily boosted by an annual bonus of up to 10%.

Qualifications: A degree in a relevant business, finance, or insurance-related subject, or an equivalent professional qualification.
Experience: Significant experience in insurance, risk management, or corporate broking, including complex claims management and insurer negotiations within sectors like utilities, logistics, manufacturing, construction, or environmental services.
Technical Knowledge: Strong command of Motor Fleet, Employers' Liability, Public & Products Liability, Property Damage & Business Interruption, Environmental Liability, and Engineering Insurance, plus experience with captive arrangements/self-insured retentions.
Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
