As a Bank Care Assistant at Westvale House Care Home, you will provide vital cover throughout the night—such as for annual leave or sick leave—ensuring our residents receive the quality care, comfort, and reassurance they deserve. Every shift is different and rewarding, from following personal care plans to providing dedicated one-to-one companionship and peaceful support through the night.
Key Responsibilities
Night-Time Care: Deliver compassionate, person-centred support through the night, ensuring residents feel safe, secure, and well-cared for.
Care Plans: Follow individualised care plans, assist with nightly routines, and ensure each resident receives dedicated attention.
Companionship: Provide emotional support, build warm relationships, and share meaningful moments with residents.
Flexibility: Work casual bank night shifts on an as-needed basis to fit around your lifestyle while helping maintain high standards of support.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Some prior experience of caring for older people.
Approach: A can-do attitude, excellent communication skills, and an empathetic nature.
