Location: Canning Court Care Home, Canners Way, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 0BJ
Salary: £13.89 - £15.40 per hour (Depending on experience)
Contract Type: Bank Shifts / Part-Time

We are partnering with Canning Court (part of Bupa) to find a talented Assistant Chef to join their vibrant kitchen team on a bank contract. In this role, you'll be instrumental in creating delicious, nutritional menus tailored to residents' dietary needs, bringing joy to every mealtime and special community event.
What You’ll Be Doing
Using fresh ingredients to craft varied, appetizing menus that cater to residents' preferences and dietary requirements.
Training and supporting kitchen team members in the preparation, cooking, and serving of food.
Helping manage orders, deliveries, budgets, and adhering strictly to COSHH, HACCP, and company guidelines.
Catering for exciting special events and seasonal celebrations, from summer fetes to birthdays and Christmas parties.
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience working in a fresh food kitchen, backed by relevant hygiene certificates.
A true passion for cooking and a desire to connect with residents, cherishing the little moments that make a care home feel like home.
An innovative, organized mindset and great communication skills.
