About the Role
As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are thrilled to partner with Morrisons to recruit a friendly and approachable Customer Assistant for their Service team in Tiverton. In this engaging customer-facing role, you will be the welcoming face of the store at checkouts, self-serve tills, and kiosks, helping shoppers process transactions smoothly and ensuring everyone leaves feeling looked after.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Checkout Support: Provide a warm, helpful experience for customers at checkouts, self-serve tills, and kiosks.
Transaction Management: Process shopping transactions efficiently and accurately with a smile.
Cross-Department Flexibility: Receive training to support other store departments, such as Market Street or Replenishment, helping out wherever team support is needed most.
Query Resolution: Assist shoppers with their queries and ensure they feel valued and welcome throughout their visit.

Age Requirement: Must be over the school leaver’s age (and over 18 for specific equipment/health and safety compliance where applicable).
Personality: A naturally friendly, approachable disposition with a genuine passion for putting customers first.
Work Style: Enjoys staying active, hands-on, and working effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
Flexibility: Adaptable and ready to cover flexible shift patterns across any day of the week.
