In this full-time facilities engineering role based in Colchester, UK, you will take ownership of maintaining the complete site infrastructure, including mechanical plant systems, swimming pools, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC). You will manage planned preventative maintenance via a CAFM system, oversee regulatory compliance testing, and ensure all building operations run smoothly and safely in Colchester, UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complete site maintenance, including building envelope, grounds, HVAC, mechanical plant, and swimming pool systems in Colchester, UK.

• Execute planned preventative maintenance schedules and resolve facility issues using an electronic CAFM system in Colchester, UK.

• Conduct mandatory compliance checks, including portable appliance testing (PAT), emergency lighting, and water hygiene checks in Colchester, UK.

Requirements

• Formal electrical qualification (17th Edition, 18th Edition, or equivalent recognized technical standard) in Colchester, UK.

• Strong working knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS), compliance regulations, and commercial facility maintenance in Colchester, UK.

• Hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capabilities alongside strong leadership and organizational skills in Colchester, UK.
