Salary: £54,554 per annum + £6,000 per annum car allowance

At Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we partner with top healthcare providers to place senior clinical leaders in transformative regional roles. On behalf of Barchester Healthcare, we are currently recruiting a strategic and hands-on Regional Clinical Development Nurse to oversee clinical governance and quality improvement across six care homes in Norfolk, Suffolk, and Essex.
Note: Due to the regional nature of this role, regular travel across assigned homes is essential. A laptop, mobile phone, and £6,000 annual car allowance are provided.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Working closely with the Regional Director, improvement specialists, and senior home staff, you will drive clinical excellence and governance compliance. You will analyze monthly KPIs and clinical databases, formulate practical quality improvement strategies, and lead key clinical initiatives across your regional home cluster.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and elevate clinical governance, care standards, and regulatory compliance across six care homes.
Monitor and analyze monthly clinical database results, risk assessments, and KPIs to create targeted action plans.
Partner with Regional Directors and care home leadership to resolve complex clinical issues and deliver thorough clinical investigations.
Support senior clinical recruitment and mentor clinical staff, including newly-qualified nurses and nurse managers.
Design and deliver continuous learning and development initiatives to ensure homes consistently achieve peak regulatory performance.
ABOUT YOU
We are seeking an experienced nurse leader with an analytical mindset, strong regulatory knowledge, and a passion for mentoring and clinical quality.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Registration: Active, valid NMC Registration as a Registered Nurse (RN General).
Experience: Extensive nursing experience within a care home setting, alongside a strong track record of clinical leadership and mentoring.
Clinical Governance: Proven capability in analyzing clinical KPIs, conducting investigations, and implementing quality frameworks.
Regulatory Expertise: Deep understanding of current care regulatory requirements and evidence of ongoing CPD.
Mobility & Skills: Willingness to travel regularly across Norfolk, Suffolk, and Essex; strong relationship-building and project-delivery skills.
