What You Will Be Doing
Support the Head Chef and catering team with the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals for service users, staff, and visitors in accordance with company policies.
Maintain strict storage procedures, proper stock rotation, and compliance with hygiene standards across the kitchen and associated areas.
Ensure all kitchen areas, equipment, and furniture are cleaned, maintained, and stored correctly.
Liaise closely with the wider team, including dietitians, regarding dietary requirements and planned meals.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience working in a similar catering or kitchen environment.
Knowledge of COSHH and HACCP food safety guidelines.
Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
A relevant catering qualification is desirable.

Rhodes Wood Hospital on Shepherds Way in Hatfield, Hertfordshire (AL9 6NN) is a specialized inpatient service providing residential care and tailored treatment programmes for children and young people aged 8-18 years with eating disorders. The hospital features tranquil grounds and an on-site Ofsted-registered school, easily reachable by car.
