In this part-time bank role based in Colchester, UK, you will work on an ad-hoc basis according to business needs and your availability. Working within a multidisciplinary team alongside leading consultants, you will monitor patient recovery post-anaesthesia, deliver compassionate clinical care, and ensure smooth transitions from theatre to the recovery ward in Colchester, UK.
Provide compassionate, high-quality post-operative care, monitoring vital signs and managing post-anaesthesia recovery effectively in Colchester, UK.
Collaborate closely with surgical and ward teams to maintain sterile safety protocols and ensure seamless patient handovers in Colchester, UK.
Supervise and mentor junior team members while maintaining clinically effective, evidence-based standards in Colchester, UK.
Active registration as a Registered Nurse with the NMC or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) with the HCPC in Colchester, UK.
Proven post-registration experience in post-anaesthetic care (PACU) / recovery nursing in Colchester, UK.
Detail-oriented approach with strong communication skills and flexibility for ad-hoc shift patterns in Colchester, UK.
Competitive pay rate equivalent up to £28.00 per hour depending on experience with flexible ad-hoc working hours in Colchester, UK.
