In this part-time bank role based in Colchester, UK, you will work on an ad-hoc basis according to business needs and your availability. Working within a multidisciplinary team alongside leading consultants, you will monitor patient recovery post-anaesthesia, deliver compassionate clinical care, and ensure smooth transitions from theatre to the recovery ward in Colchester, UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality post-operative care, monitoring vital signs and managing post-anaesthesia recovery effectively in Colchester, UK.

• Collaborate closely with surgical and ward teams to maintain sterile safety protocols and ensure seamless patient handovers in Colchester, UK.

• Supervise and mentor junior team members while maintaining clinically effective, evidence-based standards in Colchester, UK.

Requirements

• Active registration as a Registered Nurse with the NMC or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) with the HCPC in Colchester, UK.

• Proven post-registration experience in post-anaesthetic care (PACU) / recovery nursing in Colchester, UK.

• Detail-oriented approach with strong communication skills and flexibility for ad-hoc shift patterns in Colchester, UK.
