Location: Osmington House, Weymouth, Dorset
Salary: £31,564 - £34,308 per annum (Based on 2 sleep-ins per week; includes £50 extra per sleep-in)
Contract Type: Full-Time, averaging 39 hours per week (Features a predictable 3-week rolling rota published 6 weeks in advance)

No previous experience is required—if you have the right attitude, patience, and compassion, we will train, coach, and support you every step of the way. Working within our trauma-informed, therapeutic model, you will help transform young lives by providing a secure, stable environment where children can heal, grow, and flourish.
Key Responsibilities
Be a dependable, trusted role model, guiding children to make positive choices and develop independence.
Engage children in fun, memorable activities and adventures (from kayaking, rock climbing, and beach trips to arts & crafts, camping in the garden, and movie nights).
Help maintain a warm, homely environment by assisting with everyday tasks like cooking meals and cleaning.
Support children's emotional regulation and personal development using a therapeutic framework.
Complete electronic record-keeping and undertake overnight sleep-in duties (typically 2 to 3 per week).
Undertake a fully funded Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare apprenticeship with clear career pathways for future progression.
What We Are Looking For
No prior experience necessary: A caring, patient, and resilient personality is what matters most!
Good written, verbal, and IT communication skills.
A playful spirit who understands the vital importance of fun and recreation.
Essential requirements: You must be over 19 years old, and ideally hold a full UK driving licence.
A genuine passion for turning children's lives around.
