Key Responsibilities

• Support the Wellbeing Coordinator in delivering a diverse range of engaging activities designed to stimulate residents' physical, cognitive, and social wellbeing.

• Maintain a safe living and working environment while contributing to the positive and professional image of the home.

• Report any changes in residents' physical or emotional condition promptly to the Wellbeing and Activity Coordinator, Home Manager, and care staff.

• Assist with ordering and preparing supplies for upcoming events and activities as directed.

• Help establish and maintain links with the local community (such as schools, spiritual groups, and libraries) to promote intergenerational engagement.

Person Specification & Requirements

• Experience & Background: Previous experience working with older people, ideally within a residential nursing or dementia care setting.

• Core Skills & Qualities: Effective verbal and written communication skills, an understanding of how meaningful interaction impacts overall wellbeing, and a positive, enthusiastic attitude toward older people.

• Compliance: Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check required (cost met by Avery Healthcare) alongside proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
