About the Role
Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Avery Healthcare to recruit a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Kitchen Assistant for Merlin Court Care Home in Marlborough.
In this vital role, you will support the catering team with food preparation, maintain a clean and hygienic environment for safe meal production, and deliver a high-quality culinary service that enhances our residents' daily lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply safe food handling principles to ensure all food preparation meets the highest hygiene standards.
Work collaboratively with the team, responding positively to colleagues and completing tasks promptly.
Monitor stock supplies and quality, assisting with the timely ordering of replacement goods.
Interact respectfully with residents and visitors, upholding their dignity and individuality at all times.
About You

Requirements:
Hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene.
Possess a good working knowledge of Health and Safety standards (including Moving and Handling, Fire Safety, and COSHH).
Be an efficient, energetic worker capable of managing a demanding workload and physical tasks.
Display a positive, flexible attitude and a genuine, caring approach toward elderly residents.
