Position: Permanent Care Assistant / Carer
Location: Old Station House, Old Station Yard, Abingdon, OX14 3US
Pay Rate: £13.78 per hour (with NVQ & weekend enhancements available)
Contract Type: Permanent / 28 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 07:30 AM – 2:30 PM & 2:30 PM – 9:30 PM (Working alternate weekends)

As a Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are proud to partner with this leading not-for-profit provider to find a dedicated permanent Care Assistant for Old Station House in Abingdon.
Located in the heart of the bustling town of Abingdon, Old Station House is a beautiful home offering exceptional residential and early-stage dementia care across spacious, individual apartments for 43 residents. Whether you are an experienced care professional or completely new to the sector, you will make a genuine, daily impact by supporting personal care, assisting with daily routines, and sharing laughs and meaningful companionship.
Key Responsibilities
Provide respectful, person-centred personal care (including washing, bathing, and toileting support).
Build meaningful, lasting relationships with residents to support their daily wellbeing and independence.
Bring kindness, exceptional care, and dignity to the home environment.
Communicate effectively as part of a collaborative, supportive team.
