Key Responsibilities

• Personal & Practical Care: Provide person-centred care to meet residents' personal, social, emotional, and practical needs in line with individual care plans.

• Keyworker Duties: Act as a key worker for a group of service users, supporting their wellbeing and helping them settle smoothly into the scheme.

• Mobility & Hygiene: Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and the safe use of aids and equipment following risk assessments.

• Safety & Emergencies: Respond appropriately to calls for assistance and emergency situations, maintaining accurate records and upholding safeguarding standards.

What You Will Bring

• Personal Qualities: A kind, patient, and committed approach with a genuine interest in supporting older people.

• Communication Skills: Clear communication abilities and strong listening skills to work effectively as part of a supportive team.

• Experience: Previous care experience is desirable, but not essential—full training and support are provided, with encouragement to work towards a QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care.

• Proximity: Ideally living within approximately 15 miles of Market Harborough for a manageable and balanced commute.
