About the Role
As a Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are proud to partner with this leading not-for-profit provider to find an experienced Senior Care Assistant for Icknield Court in Princes Risborough.
Conveniently located close to the town centre and within easy reach of High Wycombe, Icknield Court is a friendly, modern care home featuring 90 individual rooms across six wings, complete with fantastic communal and outdoor spaces. In this leadership role, you will support the Home Manager, guide a small team of carers, and ensure exceptional standards of care, dignity, and independence are delivered to every resident.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and motivate a team of care assistants to deliver outstanding, person-centred care.
Manage, review, and update resident care plans through continuous assessment and evaluation.
Balance team leadership and mentoring with direct, compassionate support for residents' daily needs.
Use your initiative to solve problems, handle queries, and foster a safe, positive living environment.
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
Experience: Previous experience working in a residential care setting (previous supervisory experience, such as leading inductions or 1-to-1s, is a bonus but not essential).
Attributes: A positive role model with strong communication skills, natural empathy, and the ability to lead and inspire others with confidence.
