The Role

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic Store Assistants on behalf of our market-leading supermarket client (Aldi) in Wellington.

No two days are ever the same in this fast-paced environment! You will be at the heart of the store's daily operations—receiving deliveries, replenishing stock, assisting customers, and operating tills, all while helping build a warm, customer-focused atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Care: Deliver friendly, prompt customer service to create an exceptional shopping experience.

• Merchandising & Replenishment: Stock shelves, monitor product freshness, and maintain high standards of presentation.

• Till Operations: Manage customer checkouts accurately, quickly, and professionally.

Skills & Experience Required

• Great Attitude: Friendly, approachable, and eager to help both customers and teammates.

• Active & Hardworking: Comfortable staying on your feet and working at pace in a lively environment.

• Reliable & Flexible: Dependable with a positive "can-do" mindset.

• Core Skills: Confident with basic numbers and operating tills.

• Experience: Previous retail experience is a plus, but not required—your attitude and commitment are what matter most!

What’s on Offer

• Competitive Pay: £13.50 – £14.47 per hour, with regular pay increases linked to your length of service.
