In this part-time clinical role based in Colchester, UK, you will work 24 hours per week (including weekend coverage) within a multi-disciplinary theatre team. You will provide high-quality perioperative scrub support across diverse surgical specialties, mentor junior team members, ensure evidence-based practice, and utilize state-of-the-art medical technology in Colchester, UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, clinically effective, and evidence-based perioperative scrub care across a varied surgical caseload in Colchester, UK.

• Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary theatre team, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and procedures in Colchester, UK.

• Supervise, mentor, and support the ongoing clinical development of junior theatre team members in Colchester, UK.

Requirements

• Active registration with the NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) or HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) in Colchester, UK.

• Proven post-registration experience in a scrub practitioner or ODP role within an operating theatre setting in Colchester, UK.

• Exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and commitment to compassionate patient care in Colchester, UK.
