About the Role
We are recruiting flexible Bank Healthcare Assistants / Support Workers on behalf of Elysium Healthcare at Wellesley Hospital in Wellington, Somerset—a purpose-built 101-bed hospital supporting men and women with mental health needs, learning disabilities, and autism.
In this dynamic bank role, you will enjoy total control over your schedule via an easy-to-use booking app, choosing the 12.5-hour weekday, night, or weekend shifts that suit you best. You will provide vital physical and emotional care, helping service users achieve personal goals and lead full, valued lives along their recovery pathways.
What You Will Need
Experience: Previous professional experience as a Healthcare Assistant, Support Worker, or Care Worker gained within the NHS or private healthcare sector.
Attributes: A positive attitude, natural compassion, high resilience, strong vigilance, and a team-focused approach.
Proximity & Availability: A genuine dedication to supporting vulnerable adults, and willingness to pick up flexible shifts at Wellesley Hospital in Wellington, Somerset (TA21 9FF).
