About the Role
Prefer working evenings and nights while staying active? Through Bridge Staffing Agency, we are recruiting for a night shift Warehouse Operative at Bidfood in Paddock Wood. While most people are asleep, you will play a vital role behind the scenes—picking, loading, and preparing customer orders across ambient, chilled, and frozen environments so the next day's deliveries run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Order Picking: Accurately pick customer orders using scanning technology.
Vehicle Loading & Stock: Organize, store, and load products safely ready for delivery.
Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment properly, including pump trucks, power pallet trucks, and forklifts (full training provided).
Overnight Efficiency: Collaborate with a supportive team to ensure drivers leave on schedule with complete, accurate orders.
What We Are Looking For
Work Ethic & Attitude: A positive mindset, high reliability, and strong attention to detail.
Shift Flexibility: Comfort and reliability working Sunday to Thursday night shifts (19:00hrs to 05:00hrs).
Physical Fitness: A good level of physical fitness for an active, fast-paced role involving manual handling.
Helpful Experience: Scanning technology or multi-temperature warehouse experience is advantageous, though not essential.
