Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Change Grow Live (CGL) to recruit a compassionate, dedicated, and community-focused permanent Tenancy Support Coordinator based in Maidstone.
In this vital role, you will work directly with individuals who are at risk of homelessness, providing wrap-around support to help them start new tenancies or maintain existing ones. Operating across emergency, temporary, and supported accommodations, you will collaborate closely with local authorities, housing associations, and multi-disciplinary health teams to prevent homelessness and connect service users with essential community assets, training, and employment support.
Tenancy & Homelessness Support: Provide wrap-around support in emergency, temporary, or supported accommodations to prevent homelessness and secure tenancy sustainment.
Caseload Management & Crisis Intervention: Prioritize caseloads based on crisis intervention and severity of need, offering guidance on budgeting, benefits applications, education, and employment.
Partnership & Multi-Agency Working: Build strong referral pathways and collaborative networks with local authorities, housing providers, mental health services, and primary care sectors across West Kent.
Community Connection: Attend multi-disciplinary team meetings to link service users with peer support networks, health services, and mutual aid.
Experience & Knowledge: Minimum of 12 months of experience facilitating successful tenancy sustainment and working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and needs.
Substance Misuse Understanding: Good understanding of the harmful effects associated with drug and alcohol use on health, social welfare, housing, and personal relationships.
Core Skills & Benefits Knowledge: Experience managing challenging behavior, strong knowledge of local registered social landlords, tenancy issues, and benefits systems.
Requirements: A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential, as this role involves regular community/home visits and co-location across West Kent local authorities. Must hold the legal Right to Work in the UK (note: this role is subject to an enhanced DBS check).
Annual Leave: 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing by 1 extra day for each year of service during the first five years (up to 30 days).
