Provide clinical leadership and expert guidance to support a unified service and an engaged, high-performing nursing team.
Empower patient recovery, oversee clinical governance frameworks, and ensure high standards of care are consistently met and improved.
Manage ward budgets, participate in the on-call rota, and supervise nursing staff effectively.
Act as a role model, championing evidence-based practice and creating a positive learning environment that changes lives for the better.
Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team as a key specialist resource on nursing care and patient welfare.
A relevant professional nursing qualification with active NMC registration.
Proven leadership experience within a similar mental health or secure inpatient environment.
A strong commitment to high-quality, values-led, and evidence-based clinical practice.
A positive, naturally caring, and compassionate attitude with exceptional team-building skills.
The Farndon Unit in Newark (NG24 4SW) is a purpose-built low secure hospital offering personalized assessment and recovery-based treatment pathways—including a trauma-specific pathway—for women with complex care needs. The facility combines low secure wards and a recovery ward area, providing a seamless internal care pathway supporting severe and enduring mental illnesses, personality disorders, and learning disabilities.
Competitive Salary: Annual base salary of £48,945.
