Note: To be employed in this role, you must pass an enhanced safeguarding check.
As a Pharmacy Colleague, you will deliver the same warmth and friendliness customers expect throughout the store while providing exceptional healthcare support. Your responsibilities will include:
Confidently and comfortably discussing personal health issues, resolving customer problems, and guiding them to the right products.
Accurately assembling and processing prescriptions, as well as collecting prescriptions from doctor surgeries on behalf of customers.
Driving awareness of extra pharmacy services (such as Prescription Collection Services and Medicines Use Reviews).
Supporting the Pharmacist with patient services (including blood pressure checks and stop smoking schemes) and maintaining strict Standard Operating Procedures.
Complete training: you will undertake an accredited course to become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months, followed by training as a Dispensing Assistant.
