About the Role
Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Barchester Healthcare to recruit a reliable and compassionate Bank Kitchen Assistant for Hampton Grove Care Home.
In this flexible, casual role, you will help deliver first-class food and hospitality to ensure residents receive exceptional care and support. A nutritious diet is vital to residents' daily wellbeing, and your work will directly contribute to creating an enjoyable and fulfilling dining experience. You will provide essential cover for planned and unplanned absences, working alongside a supportive team to make a meaningful difference both in and outside the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the production and preparation of healthy, nutritious meals.
Help maintain the highest standards of hygiene and food safety in the kitchen.
Create a warm, welcoming, and fulfilling dining experience for residents.
Build positive relationships with residents, enhancing their overall hospitality experience.
Cover shifts flexibly as and when needed (e.g., annual leave or sick leave cover).

Reliable, considerate, and caring in your approach.
Flexible with work patterns to support varying shift requirements.
Committed to maintaining high standards of food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
Note: Formal qualifications are not required, though previous commercial or care-setting kitchen experience is advantageous.
