About the Role
Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is seeking a reliable and flexible Area Shift Manager to support Greggs based out of Hargate Way, Peterborough.
This is a mobile leadership role covering shops across the local area. You will step in to look after store operations in the Manager's absence, taking charge of shift management, team motivation, and delivering exceptional customer experiences across in-store, delivery, Click + Collect, and drive-thru channels.
Key Responsibilities
Area Shift Leadership: Travel between local shops to run shifts, maintain high operational standards, and support local store teams.
Team Guidance: Engage, motivate, and direct colleagues to deliver fast, friendly, and efficient customer service.
Food Preparation & Merchandising: Manage oven operations, prepare fresh food products (including sandwich assembly), and ensure product displays are well-stocked and inviting.
Shop Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness, safety, and operational standards across all assigned locations.
Requirements & Hours
Driving Requirement: Must hold a valid driver's license and have access to reliable transportation, as driving across the local area is essential for this role.
Shift Flexibility: Ability to work flexible shifts starting as early as 4:30 AM or finishing as late as 10:30 PM.
Experience: Previous team supervisory or shift management experience in a fast-paced retail or customer service environment.
Skills: Natural leadership ability, strong communication skills, and a commitment to creating an inclusive team environment.
