Imaging Administrator (Bank / Flexible)
Location: KIMS Hospital, Maidstone, Kent
Hours: Bank contract (40 hours per week availability, Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 20:00, working flexible shifts such as 08:00–16:00, 10:00–18:00, or 12:00–20:00)
Hourly Rate: £13.20 per hour + accumulated holiday pay

We are currently recruiting a dedicated Imaging Administrator to join the dynamic Imaging Team on a flexible bank basis at KIMS Hospital, Kent’s largest independent hospital.

Coordinate the day-to-day booking of radiology patient appointments, efficiently utilizing available clinic sessions and monitoring NHS emails for urgent referrals.
Provide prompt, professional back-office telephone and email administration services to patients, consultants, and staff.
Welcome patients and visitors to the radiology department warmly, confirming details and providing clear directions to other hospital areas.
Accurately scan all referrals and relevant paperwork onto the Patient Administration System (PAS) in a timely manner.

A good level of general education, including grade 4 (or equivalent) in English and Maths, alongside strong IT skills in Word and Excel.
Previous experience in a similar, customer-focused administrative role (hospital administration experience or knowledge of medical terminology and RIS/PAS systems is a wonderful bonus!).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and prioritization skills, with a patient-focused approach.
Valid evidence of the right to work in the UK and a satisfactory DBS check.
