About the Role

At Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are looking for a motivated and dynamic leader to step into a Deputy Store Manager role with Aldi UK in Billericay.

This role offers real responsibility and serves as the perfect stepping stone for experienced team leaders aspiring toward full Store Management. You’ll take immense pride in driving store sales, delivering top-tier customer service, minimizing operational costs, and boosting overall efficiency. Supporting the Store Manager, you’ll help lead and train the team, check displays, and ensure high operational standards every single day.

Key Responsibilities

• Store Leadership: Run store operations with confidence in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager.

• Customer Excellence: Lead by example to deliver service that consistently exceeds customer expectations.

• KPI & Sales Focus: Support the Store Manager in driving employee engagement, achieving sales targets, and meeting store KPIs.

• Operations & Merchandising: Monitor product quality, manage stock rotation, and maintain pristine visual standards.

• Financial Control: Oversee till cashing up, cash management, and safe deposits accurately.

• Compliance: Maintain strict Health & Safety guidelines and due diligence standards across the store.

Skills & Experience Required

• Leadership Experience: Proven track record of managing and inspiring teams in fast-paced, customer-focused environments.

• Operational Skills: Skilled in time management, stock control, and cost management.

• Target-Driven: Highly motivated to meet and exceed store targets and operational goals consistently.

• Service & Compliance: Strong focus on customer satisfaction, safety, and operational standards.

• Previous Store Management experience is a plus, but not essential—your leadership mindset and drive are what count!
