We are currently recruiting a Retail Shift Manager on behalf of a leading national food-on-the-go retailer known for its fast-paced, welcoming environment, strong community culture, and excellent staff benefits.
About the Role
As a Shift Manager, you will play an essential role in the store’s leadership team. You will step up to manage shop floor operations when the Store Manager is away, ensuring the team stays motivated, supported, and ready to deliver fantastic customer service.
Our client serves customers across multiple channels—in-shop, Click & Collect, delivery, and drive-thru. You will lead by example to make sure every customer enjoys a fast, friendly, and seamless experience.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Inspire and motivate team members to achieve great results and uphold store standards.
Customer Service: Serve customers in a fast, warm, and friendly manner across all order channels.
Product Preparation: Assist in preparing food products, including managing baking ovens and sandwich assembly.
Merchandising: Ensure display units are kept fully stocked, vibrant, and well-organized.
Store Operations: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, tidiness, and presentation throughout the shop.
Candidate Requirements
Supervisory Experience: Previous team leading or supervisory experience in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment.
Leadership Skills: Natural leadership ability with a passionate, customer-first mindset.
Reliability: Dependable, organized, and adaptable across various store duties.
