About the Role

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is partnering with leading providers to recruit a compassionate and dedicated Funeral Service Crew member in Kirkcaldy. In this meaningful role, you will help families say the perfect goodbye to their loved ones.

You do not need previous experience in the funeral industry, as full training, ongoing support, and career development opportunities will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Collection & Care: Collect the deceased from various locations and scenarios with professionalism and empathy. Prepare, transport, and provide personal care for the deceased.

• Funeral Operations: Bear coffins on the day of the funeral, drive funeral vehicles, prepare coffins, and engrave name plates.

• Health & Safety: Safely lift, carry, and move coffins using proper handling techniques, equipment, and safety guidelines to prevent injuries.

• Facilities & Equipment: Maintain the cleanliness of equipment, facilities, and vehicles.

• Administration: Maintain client management applications daily, inputting timely and accurate information to keep records updated.

What You Will Bring

• Driving Licence: A full manual UK driver’s licence is essential.

• Physical Capability: The ability to perform the physical aspects of the role, including manual lifting (appropriate training and aids are provided).

• IT Skills: Good IT confidence across devices (computers, tablets, smartphones, printers, scanners) with the ability to learn new
