We are currently recruiting dedicated Healthcare Support Workers for 12-hour day and night shifts supporting a lady with bariatric care needs and a spinal injury in her own home in Denmead.

Key Responsibilities

• Person-Centred Personal Care: Deliver daily personal care safely, maintaining the client's dignity and respect at all times.

• Safe Handling & Mobility: Utilize hoisting equipment for all safe transfers and physical repositioning.

• Clinical Support: Support neurological bowel management (full training provided).

• Promoting Independence: Enable the client's independence and choice, including supporting safe access to the kitchen and involvement in meal preparation where appropriate.

• Professional Consistency: Maintain a reliable, consistent, and proactive approach to care delivery.

Candidate Requirements

To excel in this specialized agency placement, you will need:

• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential).

• Previous care or support work experience (experience with bariatric care, spinal injuries, or complex needs is highly advantageous).

• Confidence using hoisting equipment (comprehensive training provided).

• A calm, reliable, and person-centred approach.

• Full Right to Work in the UK without sponsorship.
