Position: Activities Assistant / Coordinator - Care Home (Bank / Flexible Hours)
Location: Denmead Grange Care Home, Parklands Business Park, Denmead, PO7 6XP (with potential access to our local Bank Pool across nearby homes)
Pay Rate: £14.80 per hour
Shift Pattern: Days (Casual, part-time flexible working; options for additional shifts across local homes if you have your own transport)

As a Bank Activities Assistant at Denmead Grange, you will help create a vibrant, stimulating environment that celebrates life and delivers exceptional all-round care.
Your role is all about devising imaginative, fun, and motivational activities tailored to every resident's interests and abilities. By getting to know residents and their families personally, you will design programs that maximize wellbeing, independence, and social engagement both inside the home and out in the local community.
Get to know residents and families to design tailored, meaningful activity programs.
Organize imaginative, fun, and engaging events that promote wellbeing and social interaction.
Encourage participation from residents of all abilities.
Foster strong connections with the local community.
Support flexible shift coverage as and when needed across the home (and local area if part of the Bank Pool).

Skills: Excellent organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and a creative approach to planning.
Experience: Similar experience is ideal, but not essential—full training and professional development will be provided.
Transport: A full driving licence and access to your own transport is desirable if you wish to pick up shifts across multiple local homes.
