Contract: Temporary – 28 Weeks (Term Time Only)

Hours: 13.5 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm start

• Monday to Thursday: 2 hours 45 minutes per day

• Friday: 2 hours 30 minutes
  Pay Rate: PAYE £13.45 per hour

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is recruiting a School Cleaner on behalf of Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming school environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone with or without previous cleaning experience.

About the Role

As a School Cleaner, you will be responsible for cleaning designated areas of the school to a high standard. You will work independently within your allocated area while contributing to the overall cleanliness and hygiene of the school premises.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise classrooms, corridors, offices, staff rooms, and communal areas.

• Clean and disinfect toilets, washrooms, sinks, cubicles, and related facilities.

• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.

• Dust and clean desks, shelves, skirting boards, window sills, and other hard surfaces.

• Clean indoor sports facilities and changing rooms, including shower areas where required.

• Empty waste bins and dispose of waste safely.

• Operate cleaning equipment, including scrubber dryer machines where provided.

• Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain high cleaning standards.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

• Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work.

• Able to work independently and manage their allocated cleaning area.

• Physically capable of carrying out cleaning duties.

• Committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

• A good team player with a positive attitude.

Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
