In this vital daytime leadership role, you will lead shift teams to provide holistic care for residents—supporting their physical, psychological, and social needs. Your guidance during day shifts will ensure a safe, dignified, and well-managed environment where residents feel cared for like family.
Role Description As a Senior Care Assistant (Day), you will take responsibility for overseeing daily shift routines, guiding care team members, and ensuring individual resident care plans are delivered to high standards. You will combine hands-on personal care support with team leadership throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
Lead care staff during day shifts, overseeing daily duties and ensuring compassionate, person-centered support.
Assist residents with personal care routines, including washing, dressing, personal hygiene, and mealtime support.
Maintain detailed care records, coordinate care plans, and ensure effective communication across the care team.
Requirements
NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (Level 3 preferred, or willingness to complete upon appointment).
Essential previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant within a care home setting, including team leadership experience.
Valid right to work in the UK and ability to commute reliably to Bridlington, UK.
