About The Role Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is partnering with a leading facilities management provider to recruit an experienced Area Supervisor for their operations across Coventry and Birmingham. In this role, you will play an integral part in delivering and supporting field-based cleaning services, ensuring high standards, strong client relationships, and effective team management across multiple locations. Regular travel between sites is required.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain high standards of service delivery and client satisfaction in line with agreed KPIs
Build and maintain strong client relationships at a local level
Conduct regular audits and resolve issues to ensure cleaning standards and specifications are consistently achieved
Line manage, support, induct, and train frontline operatives
Support the mobilisation of new contracts through site visits, inductions, and training
Oversee and manage health & safety compliance across all sites, ensuring adherence to legislation and company policies
Conduct stock checks and follow agreed processes for ordering cleaning materials and equipment
Cover cleaning duties where necessary and support other Area Supervisors' areas when required
Ensure correct use of IT systems and maintain accurate records of visits, activities, and communications
What We Are Looking For:
Demonstrable experience in a similar supervisory or management role within facilities management or contract cleaning
Possession of the IOSH Managing Safely qualification, or willingness to complete this training within the first 3 months
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate others
IT literate with strong organisational skills and a methodical approach
A proactive, flexible, and 'can do' attitude to work requirements
A full, clean driving licence and the willingness to travel to all client sites as required
