Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with The Farndon Unit to source an attentive and detail-oriented Housekeeper. If you have an eye for detail and enjoy creating a safe, spotless, and clean environment for some of the most vulnerable people in society, this role is for you!

As an integral part of our housekeeping team at a specialized service for women with mental health and personality disorder diagnoses, you will work closely with the maintenance team to ensure all areas are pristine while helping to foster a positive, supportive culture.

What You Will Be Doing

• Maintain required security standards of the hospital by following relevant policies and procedures defined by the facility.

• Clean and maintain all areas of the service to the highest standard, including wards, office spaces, en-suite bedrooms, and visitor areas.

• Maintain excellent telephone etiquette and meet and greet visitors in a professional, welcoming manner.

• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with staff, visitors, and service users.

• Attend annual mandatory and statutory training sessions as required by Elysium Healthcare.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience of cleaning within a similar healthcare, clinical, or professional environment.

• A passion for cleaning and a genuine satisfaction from a job well done.

• Strong ability to prioritize duties and responsibilities effectively.

• Good communication skills with high attention to detail and standards of cleanliness.

• An efficient, problem-solving approach to day-to-day operations.

The Farndon Unit in Newark (NG24 4SW) is a purpose-built hospital providing low secure, rehabilitation, and acute inpatient settings for women with mental health and personality disorder diagnoses. Featuring extensive on-site amenities—including en-suite bedrooms, a secure courtyard and garden, patient gym, salon, and activity hall—the unit supports patients on their seamless internal care pathway toward recovery and independent living.
