Role Overview & Highlights
Job Title: Lifestyle & Wellness Co-ordinator
Location: Church Farm Care Home, Church Farm Lane, East Wittering, Chichester, PO20 8PT
Pay Rate: £13.10 - £14.10 per hour (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time (36 hours per week, typically 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
As a Lifestyle & Wellness Co-ordinator, you will be at the heart of creating a vibrant, joy-filled atmosphere. You will design and deliver exciting events, tailored activity plans, and therapeutic sessions that boost residents' spirits, encourage camaraderie, and help them live their best lives.
Key Responsibilities
Activity Delivery: Run engaging morning and afternoon activity sessions—from arts and crafts and baking to book clubs, gentle chair-based exercises, and pub quizzes.
Planning & Budgets: Produce and update the home's activity planner while working responsibly within a set activities budget.
Community Engagement: Liaise with external companies, local performers, and community groups to organise special events, days out, and guest visits.
One-to-One Connection: Dedicate quality time to individual residents using reminiscing tools, puzzles, reading, or simply sharing a cup of tea and a chat.
Celebrations & Media: Organize special birthday surprises for residents and support the home with updating its social media channels.
