Barchester is looking for a compassionate Care Assistant to join the team at Falmouth Court Care Home. In this day-shift role, you will help residents get the most out of every single day, providing meaningful companionship, personal care support, and sharing great moments and memories in a warm, vibrant environment.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Living Support: Assist residents with their everyday needs, ensuring comfort, safety, and personal dignity.
Care Plan Delivery: Follow individual care plans and support residents with food, drink, and nutrition.
Companionship: Spend quality one-to-one time with residents, building strong relationships and sharing special moments.
Collaboration: Work alongside a supportive team to foster a welcoming, lively, and person-centred atmosphere.
About You
To thrive as a Care Assistant, you will bring:
Some prior experience of caring for older people.
A positive, 'can-do' approach paired with excellent communication skills.
Genuine empathy, a warm-hearted nature, and deep compassion for resident wellbeing.
