At Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are currently recruiting a permanent Care Assistant on behalf of Barchester Healthcare to join the team at Falmouth Court Care Home in Falmouth.
In this rewarding role, you will support residents with their day-to-day living, ensuring they receive dignified personal care, assistance with meals and drinks, and uplifting companionship. Every day brings variety and purpose—whether you are following individual care plans, assisting with daily activities, or spending dedicated one-on-one time sharing stories and creating positive memories with residents.
Key Responsibilities
Person-Centered Care: Assist residents with personal care, mobility, dressing, and daily routines tailored to individual care plans.
Nutrition & Hydration: Help present meals, support residents with food and beverage intake, and encourage healthy hydration.
Companionship & Wellbeing: Spend quality one-on-one time with residents, fostering a warm, friendly, and emotionally reassuring environment.
Care Plan Record-Keeping: Maintain clear, respectful, and accurate records of resident routines and updates for team handovers.
About You
Experience: Prior experience caring for older individuals (in a professional setting or personal capacity).
Communication & Mindset: Excellent interpersonal skills, strong empathy, and a proactive "can-do" approach.
