Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of Supportive Bridge Limited for an experienced and highly skilled Clinical Lead Radiographer - MRI to join their diagnostic imaging team at Bournemouth Hospital in Bournemouth, UK.
In this clinical leadership role, you will take operational ownership of the MRI specialty unit while supporting the Radiology Manager in the day-to-day running of the diagnostic imaging department. Working 37.5 hours per week, you will provide expert clinical guidance, mentor staff, and ensure exceptional patient-centered care across advanced imaging procedures.
As a Clinical Lead Radiographer - MRI, you will oversee daily MRI operational workflows, perform complex scans (including advanced techniques like cardiac MRI), and lead clinical audits and quality assurance protocols. You will deputize for the Radiology Manager, contribute to policy development, and mentor junior radiographers and students within a modern hospital setting.
Lead daily MRI imaging operations, perform advanced clinical scans, and enforce strict IR(ME)R and IRR safety compliance.
Deputize for the Radiology Manager, supervise and mentor junior staff, and lead departmental QA, audit, and policy development initiatives.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary hospital teams to deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care while maintaining commercial and budgetary awareness.
BSc degree in Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent), active HCPC registration, and a relevant postgraduate qualification.
Significant post-qualification experience in MRI, including advanced techniques (e.g., cardiac MRI), alongside proven supervisory or team management experience.
Strong knowledge of clinical governance and radiation protection standards; MRI Safety Qualification and RPS training are highly desirable.
