As a Market Street Baker placed through Supportive Bridge Staffing, you will act as the warm and welcoming face of our partner's fresh in-store bakery.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Availability & Freshness: Ensure customer confidence by maintaining high stock availability of fresh bakery items throughout the day.
Visual Merchandising: Create and maintain attractive, high-quality food displays to drive sales.
Skilled Baking Preparation: Prepare a variety of fresh breads, rolls, doughnuts, and fruited products using traditional baking skills and equipment such as provers, ovens, and mixers to exact company specifications.
Customer Care: Deliver outstanding, friendly service that highlights the traditional skills and fresh products on offer, creating memorable moments for every customer.
What We Are Looking For (About You):
Baking Experience: Competent baker skills with the ability to mix, mould, and handle dough expertly.
Customer-Centric Approach: A friendly, supportive personality who loves meeting new people and going above and beyond.
Adaptability: Enjoyment of an active, fast-paced environment and the flexibility to work across other fresh counters when needed.
Safety & Initiative: Strong commitment to health and safety standards while utilizing commercial equipment, paired with the ability to use your own initiative.
