We are currently recruiting an Evening Shift Manager on behalf of a leading national food-on-the-go retailer known for its energetic team culture, supportive workplace environment, and excellent employee perks.
About the Role
As an Evening Shift Manager, you will play an integral role on the store’s leadership team during key trading hours. You’ll step up to manage shop floor operations when the Store Manager is away, keeping the evening team motivated, organized, and focused on delivering exceptional customer service through to store close.
Our client serves customers across multiple channels—in-shop, Click & Collect, delivery, and drive-thru. You will lead by example to make sure every customer receives a fast, friendly, and high-quality service experience.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Engage, inspire, and support team members during evening shifts to achieve great operational results and maintain store standards.
Customer Service: Lead by example by providing fast, warm, and friendly customer service across all ordering channels.
Product Preparation & Closing Standards: Assist in preparing food products, managing baking schedules, and ensuring end-of-day store hygiene and tidiness.
Stock & Merchandising: Ensure display units remain fully stocked, organized, and attractive throughout evening trading.
Store Operations: Oversee smooth shop floor operations, maintaining high standards of presentation and customer satisfaction.
Candidate Requirements
Supervisory Experience: Previous team leading or supervisory experience in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment.
Evening Availability: Ability to regularly work evening shift patterns between 4:00 PM and 9:00 PM.
Leadership Qualities: Strong communication skills with a natural ability to motivate, lead, and support others.
Reliability: Dependable, organized, and adaptable in a busy team environment.
