Peripatetic Nurse (RGN/RMN) - Care Home

Role Description

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is seeking an adaptable and experienced Peripatetic Nurse (RGN/RMN) on behalf of our client for St Thomas Care Home in Basingstoke, Hampshire. In this regional, roving role, you will travel across care home locations in the area to lead multidisciplinary teams, deliver exceptional clinical standards, and ensure high-quality, person-centred care for residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel across regional care homes to lead multidisciplinary teams on mixed day/night shifts, maintaining clinical excellence.

• Assess resident needs, support new admissions, and produce tailored care plans and detailed risk assessments.

• Mentor and train team members, ensuring strict compliance with NMC standards and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines for safe medicine administration.

Requirements

• Active NMC Registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).

• Teaching, mentoring, or supervision qualification.

• Strong clinical knowledge, regulatory awareness (including DoLS/MCA and safe medicine management), and flexible regional travel readiness.
